Samsung UN55B6000 55″ 1080p LED 120HZ LCD HDTV
Samsung has released the following LED UN B-Series 1080p HDTVs:
UN40B6000
UN46B6000
UN55B6000
The 2009 model lineup feature “edge-lit” LED technology and we much prefer “local dimming” which will available in the upcoming 9000 series. The new LED models offer a superior image over the traditional LCD models but at the same time suffer from issues not found on the non LED models. Our take is if you are willing to pay the difference between this series and the LN series wait until the 9000 series ships. It will cost even more but you’ll be getting the benefits of LED technology without any of its growing pains.
