If you need local storage for streaming the new WD TV Live Hub looks like a winner. You won’t have to worry about a NAS or keeping your computer online.
Along with storage you’ll have a very nice media player (one of our favorites) and a media server which will serve itself as well as other media players. With Neflix, full support for DVD playback including menus this new box can certainly be your entertainment hub. The only caveat is if you are into streaming Blu-ray media you’ll need to step up to the next generation of players such as the Netgear NTV550 or D-Link Boxee Box.
